The Year of the Tiger begins today. Across the globe, Chinese neighbors are throwing a huge party. We at the CFSC Consortium wish all our Chinese donors and friends a prosperous and safe year.

To all others, we send you our thanks as we end our annual Get 1 Get 2 campaign at the end of February with reason to celebrate. The Get 1, Give 2 Campaign has raised more than $8000 since it was launched in November. This campaign begins to help fulfill our New Year's resolution to help support poor communities especially children. 

As a result of CFSC public dialogues, many Solomon Island parents have committed to end the practice of accepting payment from visiting fishermen for sex with local girls.

In Cameroon, CFSC radio dialogies about AIDS have led to greater understanding of the risks of paying for sex.

And in northern Nigeria, the Consortium has trained local vaccination teams to communicate more effectively with parents, leading to greater acceptance of polio vaccines for their children.

At the CFSC Consortium, we've made a resolution to help support more than 3 billion people who survive on $2 a day or less, many of whom are African, Asian, and Latin American children.
