Abstract:
This report focuses on communication technology trends. Communication reflects the potential for interactions within and among cultures, and thus can be seen as mechanisms of social change. TV, radio, newspapers, phones and the internet can make it possible for one society to know about another. If societies know something about other cultures, they can see what is possible for their own, or what to avoid.
